Riley Tanner is thirteen. She lives with her mom and grandmother near Otis Air Force Base on Cape Cod. Her mom is a crew chief in the Air Force. Her dad was in the Marines. She never got to meet him.
When the orders come and the family moves again, Riley knows what’s coming: a new school, new people to figure out, and the familiar work of starting over.
